The President of Seychelles, Danny Faure, leaves the country on Thursday to undertake a state visit to India, State House said on Thursday.
Faure’s visit is at the invitation of President Ram Nath Kovind and will take place June 22 to 27.
The Seychelles’ head of state will first visit Ahmedabad in Gujarat, the westernmost state of India, and Goa on the west coast, before the State Visit on 25 and 26 June 2018. In Ahmedabad, Faure will visit prestigious institutions of higher learning including the Indian Institute of Management and the Gujarat Forensic Sciences University. In Goa, he will visit the Indian Naval Air Station.
