DOJ to tell court it is looking at options to add citizenship question to census

Lawyers for the Department of Justice plan to tell a federal judge in Maryland this afternoon on Friday afternoon that the Trump administration will continue to explore options of adding a citizenship question to the 2020 census, according to an administration official familiar with the plans.
